An incredible late harvest wine, made from the legendary Malagousia grape, from the man that revived it from the verge of extinction. A truly remarkable feat for such a small production and elegant wine. During optimal years the grapes are left on the vine for approximately 5 weeks longer than the grapes used for the still Malagousia. They are then carefully hand harvested and gently pressed without any fortification. Careful battonage takes place and limited oak contact in old French barriques for 2-3 months to develop a fuller mouthfeel, however no typical oak characteristics.
A dark golden colour with lively aromas of ripe stone fruits.
On the palate it is fresh with notes of apricot, pear and mango. A luscious, velvety texture with very good acidity leads to a long finish.
Enjoy it at 6 ° C as an aperitif or accompaniment to fresh fruit or a sweet fruit tart.
